JET, the raucous Australian rockers, are hitting Canada on a limited tour this fall, hot on the heels of the release of their third studio album, Shaka Rock.
The swaggering lead single, Shes A Genius, is lighting up radio across the globe. Its already top 20 on multiple radio formats, including top 5 on Canadian rock radio, and was recently tapped for the new Body By Victoria television campaign by Victorias Secret, which features featuring top super models Marisa Miller, Alessandra Ambrosio, Emanuela de Paula and Lindsay Ellingson. The tongue in cheek song lends itself perfectly to the fun and sexy themes of one of the worlds hottest brands.
Shaka Rock marks a return to form for the multi-million selling authentic Aussie rockers, paralleling their smash debut, Get Born, which produced the hits Are You Gonna Be My Girl and the #1 hit Cold Hard Bitch. The new album closes the gap between the raw roots of Get Born and the grace and melody of Shine On.
JET are currently on a whirlwind promotional tour, playing shows in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Australia, as well as TV appearances on The Late Show With David Letterman and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
