Comic renaissance man and host of the hit CBS talk show The Late Late Show, CRAIG FERGUSON brings his wry brand of laughs to Calgarys Jack Singer Concert Hall for one night only, on Wednesday, January 20th, 2010.

CRAIG FERGUSON entered the world of comedy following a diverse and eclectic career that encompasses film, television and the stage. Since taking the helm of the Late, Late Show on January 3, 2005, the show has set all-time viewer records in three consecutive sweeps.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, FERGUSON got his start playing drums in some of the worst punk bands in history, before landing behind the bar at a local pub. It was here that Michael Boyd, the artistic director of The Tron Theatre in Glasgow, convinced FERGUSON to try acting. It wasnt long for FERGUSONs knack for comedy to whisk him from the stage to a BBC TV series (The Ferguson Theory), and finally to North America.

FERGUSON found fame on this side of the ocean in the role of Nigel Wick, Drew Careys boss on the hit ABC comedy, The Drew Carey Show, from 1996-2003. Yet television wasnt the only thing in FERGUSONs focus he also wrote two feature films (The Big Tease and Saving Grace), directed another (Ill Be There), and in 2006, released his first novel, Between The Bridge and The River.

Since coming into his own on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and winning his first Emmy nomination in 2006, FERGUSON has been a constant topic of conversation within the media and pop culture at large, with milestones aplenty along the way. In 2008, FERGUSON was invited to host the White House Correspondence Dinner (winning raves from the 3,000 attendees, including politicians, journalists and other dignitaries). In September 2009, he released his second book, In America On Purpose, a memoir about his decision to become a naturalized American citizen.
